More than fastening

As a general rule, the assembly process, logistics and overheads represent 80% of the total "in place" cost of a fasterner. The role of the expert is to take into account the two aspects of Product and Process, with the aim of simplifying the fastening function and reducing assembly costs during the industrial process. The objective being to provide clients with the greatest possible overall saving.

In 1999 with the creation of FACIL (Fastener And Connections International), the A Raymond network pioneered Full fastener Service Provider. FACIL - a joint-venture with the Kamax Group first created to meet the needs of Ford - delivers to its customers the "complete" package of fasteners for the manufacture of a vehicle. The expertise is now global and covers the entire industrial chain: engineering support, purchasing, logistics, delivery to production lines, line-side assembly.

By forming alliances with other international groups, the A Raymond network is in a position to allow its clients to benefit from a programme of development and production which is present throughout the world, whether it be for the automotive industry (cooperation with the Japanese group Piolax) or the construction industry (joint venture with the Dutch group Walraven).
