ARaymond opens new facility in Sallent, Spain

ARaymond has inaugurated a new plant and office in Sallent (Barcelona), strengthening its 54-year industrial footprint in the Bages region.

The new site in Sallent succeeds the company's previous facility in Sant Fruitós de Bages and marks a new chapter in its long-standing local presence. It has been designed to support future growth, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen service to customers across Spain and Europe. 

Facilities designed for growth and sustainability

Built on a 47,500 m² plot, the facility includes 9,000 m² of production space, 2,000 m² of office space, and employs around 150 people. Sustainability was a key consideration in the building's design, incorporating rainwater harvesting, improved insulation, energy recovery, and heat reuse systems. It has also been designed according to advanced industrial safety criteria and is expected to obtain LEED certification.

A Family Day celebrating the people behind the success

Institutional and regional stakeholders, including representatives from the municipalities of Sallent and Sant Fruitós de Bages, the Bages Chamber of Commerce, and members of the ARaymond leadership team, gathered alongside employees to celebrate the inauguration and recognize the collective effort behind the transition.

The opening included a Family Day, giving employees and their families the opportunity to explore the new facility through guided tours and a shared lunch.
