We’re a global business with unique expertise in fastening and assembly.
As a family company, we have generations of experience in adapting to new challenges. We’ve gone from inventing the press stud and bespoke spring clips in the 1800s to connecting solar panels and thermal management for EVs in the present.
Thanks to our heritage, and by working across many sectors, we have a wealth of knowledge in solving all kinds of assembly challenges
Across all the markets we serve, the solutions we design are focused on making assembly faster and easier for our customers, ultimately helping them reduce their total cost of ownership (TCO).
Neluma™ is a turnkey Floating PV solution (FPV) designed to address the limits of existing floating solar systems. The highly modular design adapts to a wide range of lake configurations, while a mobile micro factory concept supports an installation process that is easy, flexible, and lightweight.
Built on ARaymond’s fastening expertise, the system combines a simple clip on assembly—enabling fast installation and reduced on site operations—with a structure compatible with most photovoltaic panels on the market, ensuring strong adaptability to site conditions.
Eco design as a guiding approach
Neluma™ follows an eco designed industrial approach that aims to reduce transport requirements and limit long term impact on lake shores, without permanent soil sealing. An aluminum catamaran style structure, combined with a flexible anchoring and mooring system, helps limit material use and reduce shading on water surfaces.
A new step in ARaymond’s diversification strategy
In the energy sector, the family owned company—recognized for its expertise in fastening, assembly, and fluid handling solutions—has already contributed to the installation of more than 22 GW of ground‐mounted solar capacity worldwide through its fastening systems.
With Neluma™, ARaymond continues to expand into high-potential activities, complementing its historical businesses by applying its long standing industrial expertise to floating photovoltaics, a rapidly growing segment of renewable energy. The Grenoble headquartered company aims to significantly increase the share of non mobility activities in its portfolio by 2040.
“With Neluma™, ARaymond demonstrates its ability to transform its long standing industrial expertise into comprehensive solutions serving the energy transition. This innovation reflects our ambition to design high performance solutions that are customizable and deployable at scale.”
