I’m Corinne Maze-Faudet, Maintenance Manager at ARaymond since 2022. I currently lead a team of around thirty technicians with diverse expertise (molds, robots, injection, mechatronics…). I keep production running efficiently by bringing the right skills together, supporting my team’s growth, and ensuring strong operational performance.
I first studied law but quickly redirected my path toward electronics, completing a BTS and then a DUT while working. I built my career in microelectronics, starting as a technician, then becoming an engineer, before moving into management and quality roles. At 40, as a mother of three, I returned to school to earn a master’s in change management. After several years in consulting and public administration, I returned to the technical field I’d missed and joined ARaymond in 2022.
Since I was little, I’ve loved taking things apart, fixing them, and understanding how they work. Maintenance is exactly that: solving problems, diagnosing issues, working as a team. It also requires autonomy, composure, and strong stress management, not just technical knowledge.
I firmly believe we must keep moving forward without feeling inferior. I’ve had to overcome doubts and break down stereotypes, but mindsets are evolving. At ARaymond, I feel completely legitimate. The women before us opened the way; it’s our turn to carry it forward.
I regularly host apprentices and interns. This year, I am the mentor of a class from the “Second Chance School” (E2C): interviews, short internships, mentoring, evaluation panels… The goal is to help them find their path. One young person who arrived without any interest in maintenance discovered the job during his internship and decided it was what he wanted to do. Proof that the hands-on experience can change everything. My teams play a key role with patience and great pedagogy.
I grew up in a housing project and understood early on that school could open doors. When you don’t have the codes, you can learn them. That’s why I try to support young people who don’t have a network. Nothing is easy, but determination changes everything, I’ve lived it myself.
To young people: dare, ask for internships, invest in what you want.
To companies: let’s open our doors, especially to young people from challenging backgrounds. Giving someone a chance means building tomorrow’s society.
